personally know what it's like to want a body I can be proud of but it
feels out of reach. It may not seem like it but I am -NOT-
what a person would call genetically gifted when it comes to being tone

almost a decade I have been researching
everything I could find about fitness and fat loss. I have tried every
misled diet there is and every crazy workout style you could hope to
think of and some worked at first but they were either tough to
maintain, to time consuming or just plain to restrictive.

nearly a decade in the trenches trying to figure out what worked

With my
genetics I tried everything.... All the misled diets,
every crazy workout style.... and still didn't see the results.
I still
looked like I didn't work that hard at all..... I knew something had to

joined another gym in Boise and signed up for a personal trainer,
hoping that they might have the answer. But I
soon realized that the personal trainer with the great genetics didn't
know anything about getting people with average or not so good genetics
results...heck it was a kid half my age.
Even
worse, I started spending $100's of dollars a
month on supplements to help boost my metabolism and assist with the
workouts I was doing at the gym and still I saw no real progress.
I was
working out with my personal trainer three
times a week, plus doing martial arts and aerobic classes another three
times a week (thats six times a week) But still was not seeing the
results I desired.
I
thought I had tried it all and none of it worked for me..... I was
getting very discouraged.
I
absolutely knew there had to be something more
to it, something I was missing, something I was doing wrong, and I was
determined to find out what it was no matter what.....
So what
did I do?
I
have literally spent hundred of hours studying
the in's and outs of how fitness and weight loss works. I burned up the
internet and devoured every useful piece of information I could find. I
studied and applied things that worked and others than didn't. Night
and day I worked on trying to figure out the perfect
fitness & fat loss program.
It still was not working the way I wanted it to but I was starting to
see a pattern and way of working out that a few high profile trainers
from around the world were using with great success but it was
definitely not main stream...so I did not quite see it yet. (still
listening to the mainstream)
So then

popular books, websites, magazines and big gym personal trainers just
like all of us...Right?... This is the beginning of the problem...

explain.....
The
fitness and fat loss industry is "BIG"
business and the competition is cut throat. According to Naomi Barr
from O, The Oprah Magazine, February 2009. In 2008 alone we Americans
spent over $60 billion dollars on diets, nutritional supplements and
fitness & weight loss products. Thats "B" for billion.
Truth
#1 - The personal training
industry is very loosely regulated. This means that the big gyms can
consider anybody over 18 years old, a personal trainer and have them
train their members.

#2 - The diet and
supplement industry is "Big" business. Americans spend billions yearly
on supplements that are NOT regulated by the government. So just how do
you know these supplements work?...Just because the 18 year old told
you?

#3 - The biggest diet and
supplement companies actually own the most popular fitness magazines
(Men's Health, Woman's Health, Fitness, Etc) and publish a lot of the
popular fitness and weight loss books. Many of the articles in major
publications are nothing more than disguised advertisements for the
products these large corporations sell....hummmm sneaky huh?

product out there. The allure of an "easy" or "effortless"
solution attracts the desperate dieter waiting for that next

lies or friend you listen to The facts are: You can not out train a

and the only way to lose body fat is to consume less calories than you

learning from the corporate trainers about fitness and fat loss is
usually nothing more than what these large corporations want you to
believe. I am sorry to be the one to have to break it to you, but......
