Dear Mark: The Purpose of Body Hair and the Non-Essentiality of Dietary Cholesterol In today’s edition of Dear Mark, I finally field a question that has been weighing heavily on the hearts and minds of the ancestral health community: body hair. I will tell you that there has been a lot of behind the scenes chatter between big names in the community about just how to tackle this question, and until now, no one has stepped up. To be frank, no one really knew what to say.

Low carb? Intermittent fasting? In this article I’ll explain why those are actually the wrong questions to ask, offer a new question, and reveal what kind of “nutrition guy” I really am.+++A few weeks back I did a short media blitz in Toronto, appearing on 3 different television networks and speaking with 13 print journalists in a single day.For a natural introvert like me, it was exhausting. However, I love talking about fitness and nutrition, and I’m always excited to help people get on the right track. While the journalist’s questions ranged from health and weight loss to sports nutrition, one particular theme kept emerging.

My biggest weakness is lack of flexibility. I just can’t get myself to take the time to stretch. In fact, I hate stretching. About 3 months ago, Dan Go contacted me about a way to increase flexibility, improve posture, and increase exercise performance…by doing a simple 6 minute warm-up. He saw a HUGE gap in the fitness industry and has come up with a methodology that gets results fast, even for stubborn non-stretchers like myself.
[Dan runs a gym in Toronto, Canada and has perfected a way for all of his gym members to increase flexibility each and every workout…while prepping their muscles to lift heavier weights…all while reducing the chance of injury.]
Dan Sent Me a Blue Lacrosse Ball in the Mail

A few months back Dan emailed me and told me to expect a small package (insert “that’s what she said” joke) in the mail. It was a blue lacrosse ball […]

Metabolic Circuit Training Posted by Marc Megna May 26, 2013 Burn fat and get into peak condition with the most intense circuit everby Sean Hyson, C.S.C.S.Think of a metabolic circuit as interval training mixed with resistance training. That means you get the fat-burning and heart-busting benefits of intense cardio along with the muscle-building properties of a weight workout. It’s no wonder then that metabolic circuits have been a favorite of sports coaches for years and are now migrating into the workouts of general fitness seekers.

Primal Beef Enchiladas Enchiladas are often a mess of ingredients in a casserole pan, the two main ingredients being tortillas and a heavy blanket of cheese. But it doesn’t have to be that way. In this Primal enchilada recipe, it’s all about the meat.Chuck roast is slow-cooked with fresh tomatoes and dried chiles. The result is tender, shredded beef and a thick, mildly spicy sauce. Serve in a bowl with avocado, green onion and other garnishes, or spoon the beef onto Primal tortillas.
