I have a simple request: Can we get rid of the term “hiding,” as it refers to putting vegetables into food your kids love? The act of putting broccoli in banana bread may seem sneaky but really, it’s a totally justifiable way of stacking the deck to make sure your kid actually has some fiber.

Maybe I’m all alone here, but sometimes I find deviled eggs a little tedious to make — especially if I’m making a big batch of them. Here are some of my favorites.

I can’t remember an Easter where our pre-dinner snacks didn’t include deviled eggs. The same goes for picnics, summer barbecues and, well, most family gatherings.
Just in time for spring, one of our readers emailed to tell us about her smart, mess-free way of taking deviled eggs to a party. (And no, it doesn’t involve buying a single-use deviled egg transportation device.)
