Hard-boiled eggs are notoriously hard to peel and everyone seems to have a tip or trick that works for them. Some have a three-step method involving ice water, others swear by adding a little baking soda to the water, and still others live by the standard crack-and-peel method. They’re tedious and there’s room for error, but every method eventually gets the job done.

Now, a YouTube video has offered a different take: using a wine glass.

A store-bought bottle of water is rarely the answer. Luckily, there is no shortage of reusable water bottles on the market. (It was a major trend at the big Housewares show earlier this year.) Dare we even say the market is flooded? Awash in options? You get the point. There are so many water bottles out there, we thought we’d help you pick the best ones.

Of course, you don’t need all of these. Take a look and pick out one or two that will be the most useful to you.

Screen Shot 2017-08-24 at 9.18.47 AMHey, everyone. I’ve got a regular post coming yet this morning, but I just had to let you all know about a great opportunity that’s right up the Primal alley.

If you’re a foodie, you’ll know that sous vide cooking is one of the best ways to prepare great-tasting healthy meals. My good friends (and yours, I’m sure), Drs. Michael and Mary Dan Eades, have been working to perfect the art, ease, and economy of home sous vide cooking for almost a decade.

They’re about to unveil their latest, greatest home SousVide+ version—and, boy, it’s a beauty. They’ve launched a new Kickstarter campaign to offer the first units to interested foodies at significant discounts to MSRP as well as offering enticing upgrade packages. Have a look, and get in on the venture if you can!

If you’re looking to upgrade your food experience, you won’t be disappointed.

More to come this morning… Thanks, everyone!

For small kitchens with a less-than-desirable amount of storage space, the walls usually are a good place to turn. You can get fancy and build your own pegboard, or you can just keep things simple with a ready-to-hang shelf. If you opt for the latter, you can still fun things up with all sorts of storage options. Just look at this hanging kitchen rack on Amazon.

Of all the essential ways to use up ripe and juicy summer tomatoes, I’d argue that a big caprese salad deserves a spot at the top of your list. And there’s one thing that’s going to make this summer’s caprese the best yet: creamy chunks of ripe avocado.

For no particular reason, I’ve never really worn gloves to wash the dishes. I guess my mom never did, so I didn’t get into the habit, and it’s hard to change habits! But my friends who cook a lot — and clean a lot of dishes — always wear them. Every time they do a dish! I mean, I’ve pulled out my gloves for Thanksgiving dinner, but that’s about it. Anyways, I started to wonder if there was something there.
