As an Airbnb host, I’m always looking for little helpers that make my home feel luxurious — and keep it that way. That’s how I stumbled on The Laundress, a New York-based laundry and fabric care line. I wanted to make sure my nice sheets stayed soft and in good shape through many (many!) launderings, and it came recommended.

One wash and I was hooked, even though at $20 per 32-ounce bottle it’s definitely not cheap. But because you literally use a spoonful of the stuff, it probably (maybe?) works out to be comparable to the store stuff. And there’s no need for fabric softener either; the fresh laundry smell is a dream.

In fact, I loved it so much, I thought, why not try their cleaning supplies?
