Dutch ovens can get pretty pricey — especially the ones from iconic brands like Le Creuset and Staub. While many people dream about having a complete set that’ll rival a display at Williams Sonoma, it’s just not practical without a bottomless bank account. And that’s okay! Because you really can get by with just one — as long as you’re smart when you shop for it.

If you’re only going to have one Dutch oven, here’s how big (and what shape) it should be.

Start with roasted cabbage slaw with hazelnuts and lemon or smashed potatoes with Gouda and horseradish and you can already sense the beautiful, well-balanced meal to come. Those plain ol’ pork chops never had it so good!

As the first meal of the day, breakfast holds a lot of power in swaying the way we start our mornings. Even if you’re more likely to grab a cup of coffee and rush out the door than sit down to a full spread of eggs and the works, there’s always a middle ground that delivers flavor, convenience, and a little delight.

These recipes are either quick enough to whip up on an average weekday morning or can be made in advance over the weekend or on a quiet weeknight. It’s proof that — especially with breakfast — a little planning goes a long way.

That wonderfully sweet, silky floral scent issuing from impossibly bright petals simply can’t be ignored, and there’s no denying that it’s a […]

If you stop and think about the best pizza you’ve ever had in your life, what comes to mind? I lived in Chicago for many years, so the competition for best pie is pretty steep. Is the pizza just topped with cheese? Is it topped with farm-raised meats? Is it deep-dish, thin-crust, or wood-fired? Is a pizza even a pizza if it doesn’t have tomato sauce? The options are almost endless. Ina Garten’s favorite pizza on the planet sounds pretty unique, but we’re sure it’s delicious.

Do you love the colorful, Instagram-ready swirls of the Unicorn Frappuccino, but want something to drink that is not an enormous sugar bomb? Well, Starbucks is coming out with a new kind of color-changing cold brew coffee that is like drinking a rainbow in a glass — a very caffeinated rainbow.
