All-Clad, one of our favorite cookware brands, doesn’t come cheap. However, if you’re strategic, there are ways to get pieces for way less than full price. You can usually find a few good deals during store sales (thanks, Williams Sonoma and Sur la Table!) and big shopping holidays, like Cyber Monday.

Another way? Through this VIP Factory Sale.

I’m very into tile. I have favorite kinds of tile. I watch tile trends. I have joked about starting a blog all about tile (it’s not really a joke, though). You may think of tile as a dull subject, but that’s where you’d be wrong.

There’s always something new in the tile world, some new shape or texture or color or configuration. Lately, I am very into the look of matte black tile paired with black grout. It’s sophisticated, it’s modern, it doesn’t show dirt — a win all around. (Another good look: We’re Totally Obsessed With This Tiled Backsplash Trend.)

Keep reading to see why I’m so obsessed with it.

If you told me that it had been just five years since Rachael Ray brought her catchphrases like EVOO and “Yum-O” into the public consciousness, I’d probably believe it. On the flip side, if you told me that she’d been on TV measuring out palmfuls of ingredients for the past 25 years, I’d probably believe that too.

Ray has seemingly always been there, a good-natured, perpetually upbeat kitchen personality who makes you feel like you’re capable of perfecting the same things that she spent half an hour working on; that’s part of her charm, and part of what she’s been criticized for. (Personally, that’s why I love her).

While many of us hear the words “stand mixer” and automatically think of KitchenAid, there’s more than one option on the market. Just ask the contestants on the Great British Baking Show. They used to use KitchenAid stand mixers … until the small appliances were controversially switched out in season three.

Iced coffee is one of the best things about summer. It’s refreshing, cooling, and heavily caffeinated. What’s not to love? The only problem is that buying iced coffee from coffee shops can get extremely expensive — especially since it goes down so quickly (you’ll need another cup before you know it!). And cold brew coffee tends to be even more expensive than regular ol’ iced coffee, which is already more expensive than hot coffee!

Fortunately, cold brew coffee is actually one of the easiest caffeinated drinks to make at home — and you don’t even need to buy anything expensive to make it.

I think I’m a pretty easygoing person. I don’t care if the toilet paper goes over or under the roll. I don’t feel strongly about whether or not a hot dog is a sandwich. I don’t even have a favorite Spice Girl. One time I even ate guacamole with peas in it, and I liked it!

But there’s one subject I feel very strongly about: Sandwiches should be cut on the diagonal, not straight down the middle.

A well-cooked pork chop should be unquestionably juicy, tender, and even a teeny bit pink at the center (yes, this is okay!). It’s what we should expect every time we cut into this meat. But sometimes we’re met with a tough, chewy chop instead.

Here is the simple reason why your pork chops turned out tough, and the best way to make sure it never happens again.
