I have been in and out of Manchester, England several times this spring and I can say, with 100 percent certainty, that the staff at the Manchester airport will always ensure that you’re having a pleasant experience — even when a uniformed stranger is searching through your suitcase for a full-sized tube of toothpaste you forgot that you packed.

Costco’s store-brand imported vodka has earned an impressive cult following — especially for such a bargain booze. It’s won over spirits aficionados both behind the bar and the byline, as they rave about its clean, silky flavor, and speculate about its origins.

Homemade ribs are a special meal. It’s the kind of meaty dinner dish relegated to long summer afternoons tending the smoker or heating up the kitchen for a long, slow cook in the oven. Instant Pot ribs change all that! Making ribs in the Instant Pot means this summer staple can be an anytime feast. Because, yes my friends, you can truly have tender, sticky, baby back ribs on the table in under an hour with the help of the electric pressure cooker.

My cast iron skillet and I have a special relationship — I won’t even let my husband wash it because I don’t like the way he does it. I’ve worked really hard to create a seasoning that is slick and nonstick, and I don’t want to have to re-season it again (a few years ago I once had to redo everything after my husband let it “soak” for several days while I was traveling).

I have a cleaning routine that I love so when Lisa, our lifestyle editor, asked me to try a kit that promised to make cleaning and seasoning my pan even better, I was more than hesitant. I tried it (because I’m nothing if not a team player!) and now, to my surprise, I want to shout about my love for this kit from the rooftops. I’ve already given three as gifts, and if you know me personally I’ll probably be telling you about my obsession with it soon.

All of summer’s abundance — hearty eggplant, juicy tomatoes, colorful peppers, and fragrant basil — come together in this quick and easy skillet dinner that’s perfectly suited for busy weeknights. Caramelized onions are added in to bring depth to this meatless meal, and the orzo is toasted right in the pan to ensure there’s just the right amount of texture and flavor. It’s the kind of dish you want to eat when your attempts to keep the kitchen cool has you suddenly bored of no-cook salads and sandwiches for dinner.

If you’re willing to turn on the stove for just 30 minutes, you’ll be rewarded with something homey and satisfying that’s got serious eye appeal. It’s a vibrant dinner that’s fresh enough for summer, yet comforting enough that it finishes off a long day right.

Kitchn’s Delicious Links column highlights recipes we’re excited about from the bloggers we love. Follow along every weekday as we post our favorites.

Last weekend I consumed one of the top five appetizers I’ve ever eaten in my life at a semi-unexpected location: the spicy buffalo cauliflower at California Pizza Kitchen. The moment I popped the first floret into my mouth, an imaginary symphony began to play, and I needed to seriously slow my roll since we ordered the dish to share for the table.

These little caulis were filled with flavor, thanks to the Sriracha Buffalo sauce, blue cheese crumbles, and chopped scallion garnish. In search of a similar but different rendition, I came across these honey garlic baked cauliflower bites from Kirbie’s Cravings and immediately knew I needed to add them to my menu this week.

A lot of people are taking protein supplements and powders with the idea that it will help them lose weight, while many other people start consuming protein powders in their teenage sporting years, and don’t stop. However, few people in the U.S. aren’t actually getting enough protein, with a typical non-exercising adult only needing around 60 […]

There are a lot of things a person can do to take advantage of all the cucumbers in the stores and farmers markets right now. We could make cocktails, salads, pickles, and even cold cucumber soups. With their bright-green color, cucumbers lend themselves to a lot of visually appealing summer recipes, so there are a ton of good cucumber recipes on Pinterest.

I even found a tutorial for making cucumber roses. But of all the many cucumber recipes on Pinterest, the most popular one is this cucumber, onion, and tomato salad from a blog called Yummy Mommies. It’s been saved more than 34,000 times, and several people have posted photos of their attempts at making it.
