Keep a lasagna in your freezer at all times and I can guarantee your future self will be eternally grateful. It can be one you made, or a package from the freezer aisle or your grocery store’s prepared food section. There’s going to be a night when it really comes in handy, and it means a saucy, cheesy pasta dinner for the whole table comes together in a breeze.

And while it reheats in the oven, all you have to do is whip up a simple veggie side. These are our 10 favorite standbys for pairing with frozen lasagna.

On July 17th, you’ll be able to watch (at no cost to you) an extensive interview documentary that I’d highly recommend—that is, if you’re interested in learning about keto for weight loss, performance, and disease treatment; about fasting, autophagy, and (healthy) fat intake for chronic disease prevention and treatment; and about targeted, manageable fitness for anyone who’s interested in improving their health. I was happy to participate in the documentary and now share it with you as an affiliate supporter of its essential message for health.

It’s called The Real Skinny On Fat, and you’ll hear from me as well as Dr. Cate Shanahan, Dr. Jason Fung, Kathy Smith, Dr. Kellyann Petrucci, Dr. Frank Lipman, Nina Teicholz, as well as a dozen experts and physicians (from cardiologists to neurologists)—talk about the massively skewed medical perspective that has become one of the root contributors to modern illness, including diabetes and cancer.

Learn how to “flip the switch” on your own cellular regeneration. Learn how to amplify your body’s natural detoxification defenses. Learn about medical breakthroughs in cancer and Alzheimer’s. Learn about alternative methods of fasting that provide the core physiological benefits—without feeling deprived. And much, much more, I promise you.

On July 17th, this documentary is entirely free for anyone to watch. So, be sure to sign up—and pass along to friends and family members.

Watch this short but powerful video right now and get the whole story.

And let me know what you think.

It’s Success Story Friday of course, so be sure to check back. Thanks for stopping in, everybody.

Like Trader Joe’s, Costco, and Target, IKEA has its own cult following. And even infrequent IKEA shoppers have probably heard of the RÅSKOG Utility Cart and the BILLY Bookcase. But for every one of those super-popular products, there are a dozen lesser-known ones. So we polled our readers, loyal IKEA shoppers, to dig up some of the best, most underrated products. This way, there’s less pressure on you when you’re wandering through that snake-like maze.

Here are 12 of the best hidden gems at IKEA, according to our readers.

Everything is better in Paris. I know that. Attempting to make my American home my own version of a Parisian apartment was destined to be a disappointment. I live on the wrong continent with a different way of life. But I couldn’t resist.

I should have resisted.

Kitchn’s Delicious Links column highlights recipes we’re excited about from the bloggers we love. Follow along every weekday as we post our favorites.

Recently I got into the habit of keeping a big bag of frozen shrimp in my freezer because I always forget to defrost chicken and other meaty proteins in time for dinner. (Although, when I do manage to think ahead and thaw out some chicken breasts, I feel like an absolute CHAMP.) Since shrimp thaw in a flash and can also be cooked from frozen, it’s a delicious alternative.

Being in my late 20s, it is hard to imagine going through something as frightening and traumatic as a cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately, I already know two girls my age who developed breast cancer — one is no longer with us. The uncertainty of cancer is unnerving, which has so many of us wonder how to […]

Who among us has never lusted after a Vitamix? Those industrial-chic, heavy-duty blenders are a cult favorite because they’re reliable workhorses that can handle tough ingredients and turn out ultra-smooth dishes like magic. The only problem is that they’re expensive. Really expensive. It might take a lot of nut butters and smoothies to justify the cost, but a lot of people who own them say the performance is worth the price tag.
