Well, friends, there are just two months left in the year, so it’s time to start thinking about 2019 — namely, what we will be eating. I’m often skeptical of “magical” recipes — ones that claim to change my life and solve all my problems. But skepticism doesn’t get me fluffy, golden bagels or the fastest-ever homemade pizza.

I’ll be forever grateful that I ignored the part of me screaming “Just make the real deal!” and gave the viral two-ingredient dough (just self-rising flour and Greek yogurt) a try. Now I have both a magic trick and a few new delicious recipes up my sleeve — and I’ve only just scratched the surface on everything this dough can do.

There’s something so deeply satisfying about roasting a chicken. It’s a simple act that results in an impressive, dinner party-worthy meal that also feels so homey and comforting.

This roast chicken from Dorie Greenspan’s new cookbook, Everyday Dorie, is easy and classic, but she elevates it with a few special tricks to ensure it’s extra special. She writes in the book: “You’ll make this recipe once and then never look at it again,” and she’s right. Halloween is here and it’s time to turn up the campy factor. We can’t think of a better way to do that than by dressing up your drinks!

In this collection of spooky cocktails and punches, the Halloween kitsch is dialed all the way up — because what other time of year gives you the green light to shoot glow-in-the dark gin-and-tonic jello shots, serve a boozy swamp punch, or sip on a tropical pitcher drink that looks like a giant candy corn?

Ever since Ina Garten hit the road to promote her latest cookbook, Cook Like a Pro, I’ve officially become a Gartenhead. I’ve been listening to every single one of her sound bites, digesting every feature and article, and following her book tour so voraciously that I feel like, at this point, I can finish her sentences. Her go-to kitchen tool? A zester. One recipe she can’t master? Boston cream pie. Her favorite thing to cook for Jeffrey? Roast chicken. The most important ingredient? Salt. Best cheese ever? Parmesan.

Whether you have a tiny two-bedroom loft on the outskirts of town or a teeny studio apartment in the heart of your city (or something in between, even!), chances are you’ve got a piece of furniture in front of your sofa known as the coffee table. Great for putting your feet up, eating dinner on, or displaying books and trinkets, the coffee table can also have a downside: It’s a bulky object taking up precious space.

But that’s why you want to choose one that will work for you.

When a photo of Justin Bieber sitting on a park bench in sunglasses, cap, and hoodie went viral yesterday it wasn’t because of the beautiful shade of pink of his sweatshirt (it’s really quite nice) but because of how he was eating his burrito.

We don’t know why, but we are totally obsessed with knowing what other people are buying. Actually, we do know why: We want to make sure we’re in on the same secrets as everyone else! That’s why we asked our friends at Williams Sonoma to share some of their most popular items for the holiday season. We were curious to know if people tend to stock up on a certain stocking stuffer or if everyone but us gives a KitchenAid stand mixer.

Our contact responded right away. Apparently, we sent over an easy ask.
