I don’t think there’s anything that more obviously screams summer than a slice of watermelon, on a paper plate, on a picnic table (or maybe a bathing suit-clad lap that’s sitting at a picnic table). What’s great about watermelon in the 21st century is that now you can not only eat it for dessert or a refreshing snack, but you can also drink it, or sprinkle it with savory things, or even dry it!
