Macy’s didn’t launch the first wedding registry program (that honor goes to Marshall Field’s, a department store in Chicago, which was later acquired by Macy’s), but the historic chain has certainly become a classic go-to when it comes time for couples to build their wish lists.

And for good reason, too: Macy’s carries the big-name brands you’d expect, plus a few exclusive brands and products. And the department store has all the Martha Stewart gear (love her or hate her, the woman knows how to design some good-looking, totally functional kitchen stuff!).
