I already have high triglycerides/high cholesterol. While I understand that Coconut oil is suppose to be healthy and good for you, it can elevate cholesterol levels, although it’s probably slight. Considering I already have this condition, I’m wondering if it’s still safe to consume Coconut oil, although small amounts would probably be okay. I won’t bother to ask my family physician because he advises me to go on Statins, which I can absolutely not tolerate, nor will I ever take them because of the awful side effects.
