One of the best reasons to use kettlebells is that they tie the entire body together. They do this by engaging the core, hip, and shoulder stabilizers as well as utilizing grip.
The body works in an inside-out fashion. In other words, we engage inner core musculature first and then use the peripheral local muscles, such as the arms or legs, to finish the actions. Our grip attaches us to the action. But did you know how you grip impacts what muscles are used? The reason lies within our fascial lines.
