Kitchen gadgets, unlike tomatoes, don’t have a season. Sure, you’re more likely to use your ice cream machine in the middle of August when you need to cool off and there’s plenty of fresh fruit to use up, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it in January. The same thing goes for your slow cooker. Just because you love making chili and stews in the winter doesn’t mean it can’t be used for your next summer cookout or even to bake bread (yes, bread) during July.
