Save7Favorite0 If you think you don’t have time for a butt-kicking workout this holiday season, think again. Tabata, a form of high-intensity interval training, can burn up to 13 1/2 calories per minute, meaning just a short workout will leave you sweaty, full of energy, and ready to take on your packed day. Try this under-20-minute Tabata workout from Sports Club/LA trainer Judy Truong; she guarantees it’ll leave you feeling “like you’ve been at the gym all day.” After a few minutes of warmup, start with Tabata One, and do each exercise for 20 seconds, resting for 10 seconds before you move on to the next move. Rest up to 30 seconds between each eight-move Tabata series, but make sure you keep rest breaks short to keep your heart rate up.

The Paleo Solution Transformed My Life Monday, December 2nd, 2013 Written by Doug Bodine:Dear Mr Wolf,Ordinarily I’m not one to message anyone that I don’t already know, however the impact that your book has had on my life is so extraordinary, that I find it necessary to express my gratitude. Wow, it seems like such a long road in getting here that I’m not sure where to begin, but here goes. Years of suffering with gastro problems, skin rashes, etc kept taking back time after time to who else but the medical profession, with no  relief to any of my symptoms, ever.

This holiday season, get slim without the gym with high-intensity interval training (HIIT).Photos.comhttp://pgoaspryliving2.files.wordpress.com/2013/12/hiit.jpgShare this: Pin ItEmailPrintLet’s be real: Who has time for hour-long workouts these days? Especially during the holidays, when long to-do lists, social obligations and travel plans all conspire to disrupt your fitness routine? But just because you can’t make it to the gym doesn’t mean you should let fitness fall to the wayside. This holiday season, squeeze in a quick, fat-blasting workout in ten minutes or less with high-intensity interval training, or HIIT.“High-intensity interval training (HIIT) describes any workout that alternates between intense bursts of activity and fixed periods of less-intense activity or even complete rest,” explains Lisa Kinder, a certified fitness instructor and brainchild behind the DVD, “10 Minute Solution: High Intensity Interval Training.” “It gets you fitter in less time by supercharging your metabolism, burning fat and strengthening your cardiovascular system,” Lisa notes
